Doris Todd Christian Academy always invites applicants for PS-HS, provided there is space available. The number of openings is dependent on withdrawals, and is confirmed the end of February after reenrollment. Please ensure that all documentation is submitted by the deadline. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications for the current school year will be considered on a space available basis.

Children need to be 3 years old by December 31 to enter the Preschool 3 class, 4 years old by July 31 to enter Preschool 4, and 5 years by July 31 to enter Kindergarten. Please make sure to print off all administrative/academic release forms to be filled out by your child's current school.
We have limited space available in 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 6th grade. Please call the office at 808-579-9237 before applying. The $100 application fee is non-refundable.

Non-Discriminatory Notice: Doris Todd Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, athletics and other school administered programs.
Applicants (K-8) are required to take an entrance test. The school office will contact parents to schedule a testing date.
Once all application forms have been received and testing is complete, the school office will contact parents to schedule an admissions interview.
After applications, test results, recommendation forms, interviews, school grades, and other data are evaluated by the Admissions Committee; notification of the admission decision will be made. Upon acceptance, the Registration Fee must be paid within 15 calendar days of notification to hold a spot for the applicant. Admission notification continues as long as there are vacancies. Students in the waiting pool will be notified when an opening occurs.
A waiting pool will be started when a class reaches full enrollment.
Late applications will be considered on a space-available basis.
K-12 families may apply for tuition assistance once applicant has been accepted.

Doris Todd Christian Academy is pleased to offer Financial Aid for students entering grades K - 12. Once a new student has been accepted, parents may apply for Financial Aid online. To receive the link to the application site, please email our bookkeeper. Your application will be submitted to our Financial Aid Committee for consideration for aid. Letters will then be sent out to notify parents if they will be awarded financial aid or not.
Families of students who qualify and receive financial aid are required to volunteer a minimum of twenty (20) hours during the school year. If you receive financial aid, you will need to record your hours in ParentsWeb. Please keep in mind that the Financial Aid Committee will consider your volunteer hours along with your application in March for future Tuition Assistance.
Preschool Open Doors and Puahi Keiki/Kipona Scholarships are gladly accepted!
The Pauahi Keiki Scholars (PKS) program is a need-based scholarship program for eligible applicants who are planning to attend approved, non-Kamehameha Schools preschools in Hawaii. Applications are accepted by Kamehameha schools from (see their website for application dates). To apply for this scholarship, visit: www.ksbe.edu/programs.
The Kipona Scholarship (KS) is a need-based scholarship for eligible keiki who are applying to a KS-eligible private school in Hawai'i. Check their website for application dates/deadlines for returning/renewal students and for NEW scholarship applicants .
